Steve A. Hurtt
Mr. Hurtt received a degree of Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University in 1986. He has been a Registered Architect in the State of Ohio since 1991.
From 1985 to 1993, he worked for UMA Architecture specializing in rehabilitation of historic buildings. Projects under his supervision ranged from single family homes, multiple site housing for The Community Housing Network, and restructuring warehouse space into luxury condominiums at the Rich Street Lofts.
From 1993 to December 1996, Mr. Hurtt worked at Artemis Design & Construction as Vice President. His responsibilities while at Artemis included architectural design work, production management and on site supervision. Projects included whole house renovations, additions, kitchen & bath remodeling.
Mr. Hurtt spent over 10 years as the Chairperson for the Italian Village Commission, an historic design review of The Italian Village National District and is currently Chair of its Parks Redevelopment Committee. He was a founding member and past president of Camp Sunrise, a not-for-profit agency set up to provide a summer camp for HIV impacted children. He is currently President of the Board of the Short North Foundation.
